1.One effect of increasing video gain is that your video will appear lighter as gain increases the amount of light if there is not enough.On the other hand gain can also cause the video to be over exposed if the light is too much with your surrounding environment.

A pixel is another word for square. An image is made up of a number of pixels and depending on how many pixels there are depends on the picture resolution, which is how clear the image appears to you.
